The corona crisis has turned our health system upside down. Within a very short time, the focus was shifted from cost optimisation to crisis mode. Instead of lean management, protective storage was demanded, oversupply led to supply security and the demand for electronic patient files suddenly occurred.
What do we learn from this?
And what do we need to do better?
These are precisely the questions we explored further at FutureHealth 2021.
FutureHealth Basel 2021 was dedicated to the theme “Rethinking Patient Experience”. The programme provided insights into practice-relevant topics and facilitated a solution-oriented dialogue. We were able to build on the successful events of previous years and tailor the content even better to the Swiss healthcare industry. In doing so, we explored topics such as the digitalisation of healthcare, sustainable business models and the question of governance.
